Course Overview
We will explore in-depth the technologies commonly used in TouchDesigner projects. As you create more complex outcomes, you will learn the necessary skills, which will allow you to upgrade your personal projects with the content learned in the intermediate course.

- 2023.11340 버전 이후의 터치디자이너, 노트북 (Mac 혹은 Windows), 쓰리 버튼 마우스
Preparation
- TouchDesigner version 2023.11340 or later, laptop (Mac or Windows), and a three-button mouse.
강의 내용
Course Content
Day 1 : TD Ableton (오디오 비주얼)
- TD Ableton을 사용하여 TouchDesigner와 Ableton Live를 연결하여 오디오 비주얼을 제작합니다.
- 수업을 위해 Ableton Live Suite 미리 설치 해야합니다. (트라이얼 버전 사용 가능.)
Day 2 : Python in TouchDesigner (TouchDesigner에서 파이썬)
- 파이썬에 입문한 다음 TouchDesigner에서 파이썬 활용 방법을 다양한 예제를 통해 연습해 봅니다.
Day 3 : Particle Systems (파티클 시스템)
- GPU/CPU 활용하여 파티클 시스템 제작해 봅니다.
Day 4 : SOP Surfaces & 3D Files (SOP 표면 & 3D 파일)
- SOP 오퍼레이터를 활용하여 복잡한 3D 표면을 구현하는 방법과 다양한 유형의 외부 3D 파일을 사용하는 방법을 알아봅니다.
Day 5 : Point Cloud in TouchDesigner (포인트 클라우드)
- 포인트 클라우드 파일을 사용하여 터치 디자이너에서 시각화 및 변화하는 방법, 그리고 포인트 클라우드를 직접 만드는 방법을 배웁니다.
Day 6 : Interactive Visuals (인터랙티브 비주얼)
- 터치 디자이너로 만든 다양한 비주얼에 인터랙션과 다양한 센서 및 하드웨어 인풋을 활용하여 추가해봅니다.
Day 1 : TD Ableton
- Using TD Ableton, you will connect TouchDesigner and Ableton Live to create audio-visual projects.
- You need to have Ableton Live Suite installed beforehand for the class (the trial version is acceptable)
Day 2 : Python in TouchDesigner
- After getting started with Python, you will practice how to use Python in TouchDesigner through various examples.
Day 3 : Particle Systems
- You will create a particle system using GPU/CPU resources.
Day 4 : SOP Surfaces & 3D Files
- You will learn how to implement complex 3D surfaces using SOP operators and how to utilize various types of external 3D files.
Day 5 : Point Cloud in TouchDesigner
- You will learn how to visualize and manipulate point cloud files in TouchDesigner, as well as how to create point clouds from scratch.
Day 6 : Interactive Visuals

카로(Caroline Reize)는 오디오 비주얼 퍼포먼스 및 인터랙티브 설치 작업을 주로 하는 뉴미디어 아티스트이자 터치디자이너 교육자입니다. 현대자동차그룹의 ZER01NE Z-LAB Project(2022, 2023), 한국콘텐츠진흥원 다빈치 프로젝트(2019)에 참여하였으며, 국립아시아문화전당의 전시 반디산책: 지구와 화해하는 발걸음(2022, 2023), ZER01NE Day(2020, 2021, 2022, 2023), WeSA Festival(2021) 등에서 작품을 선보였습니다. 터치디자이너 워크숍과 강의를 세종대학교 및 국립아시아문화전당에 진행한 이력이 있으며, 유튜브 채널과 블로그를 운영하며 사용자 커뮤니티를 키우는 데에 노력하고 있습니다.
Instructor Introduction
Caroline Reize is a new media artist and educator primarily engaged in audio-visual performances and interactive installations. She has participated in projects such as the ZER01NE Z-LAB Project (2022, 2023) with Hyundai Motor Group and the Da Vinci Project (2019) with the Korea Creative Content Agency. Her works have been showcased in exhibitions at the Asia Culture Center, including “Bandisan Walk: Steps to Reconcile with the Earth” (2022, 2023), “ZER01NE Day” (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023), and “WeSA Festival” (2021). Caroline has experience conducting TouchDesigner workshops and lectures at Sejong University and the Asia Culture Center, and she actively runs a YouTube channel and blog to grow the user community.
