[ Tacit Group ]
Tacit Group is an audiovisual performance group that has been formed in 2008 to create work centered on the algorithmic and audiovisual. Their algorithmic art is focused on process more than outcome. They create mathematical code, systems using principles and rules, and improvise performance on the stage using the systems. During the performance the systems are revealed visually and sonically, so that the audience might hear using their eyes, such as the way we view “The Scream” by Edvard Munch (Norway, 1863-1944). Visuals are integral to the work of Tacit Group as both composers and media artists. They hope that by showing not just the finished piece but the process of chatting or gaming which generate it, they involve their viewers more intensely and break the conventional divide between performers and audience members. None of their work is ever completed. They continually update the underlying systems and draw inspiration from their computer programming practice. As artists of our era, Tacit Group discovers artistic possibilities in technology.

[ Damirat ]
Damirat articulate their musical consciousness by resisting cliche sounds and developing musical structures in challenging ways. Intellectual sound layers combined with unusual approach and arrangements represent Damirat's musical perception. Damirat founded the WATMM live electronic events in Seoul and released their first double EP ‘iraer/tiaroe’ In 2003. Damirat also works on various media art projects and commercials as a music director. Their first full length album will be released later this year.
DAMIRAT(다미라트)는 익숙한 사운드와 구조를 의도적으로 비틀고 해체한다. 변이적 형식과 사운드 레이어를 사용해 의식적 음악듣기를 표현하고있다. 2013년부터 한국 전자음악 공연 WATMM 와트엠을 기획하고 있으며 첫 Double EP ‘iraer/tiaroe’를 같은해 발매하였다. 다미라트는 다양한 영상작품과 커머셜작업에 참여하고 있으며 올해 말 정규앨범 발매를 준비하고 있다.

[ Yoosin Kim ]
Yoosin kim, born in South Korea, received his BFA from Hongik university in Seoul and currently lives and works in Seoul and Sokcho. Recently Kim created sound works inspired by irregular nature sounds and that represent the sublimity of it. He also creates audio visual performances with quartz composer and unity engine. Aside from his visual art practice, Kim is producing the documentary ‘The draft line’ in Sokcho. He utilises the sounds and videos from documentary for his performance.
김유신은 속초에서 태어나 대학에서 회화를 전공하였고, 서울-속초를 기반으로 하여 다양한 예술작업을 진행하고 있다. 현재 그는 자연에서 발생하는 불규칙적인 소리에 영향을 받아 사운드 작업을 하고 있으며, 자연에서 받은 경외감을 사운드에 반영한다. 또한 쿼츠컴포저와 유니티엔진을 이용하여 오디오비주얼 퍼포먼스를 펼친다. 이와는 별도로 속초에서 다큐멘터리”흘수선”을 제작하고 있으며 다큐멘터리를 만들면서 수집한 소리와 영상을 공연에 사용하기도 한다.

[ Jeho ]
JEHO is a composer and sound visual artist, who lives in Seoul, Korea and has been crossing various fields at home and abroad such as interactive sound, sound installation, audio-visual, mapping projection and VR(virtual reality)Art. He has been selected as the artist of the 2015 MAP(Mullae Arts Plus) so he has had an exclusive performance in the name of ’Soundhue’ at MullaeArtspace.
작곡가이며 사운드 비주얼 아티스트인 JEHO(윤제호)는 인터렉션 사운드, 설치 사운드, 오디오 비주얼, 프로젝션 맵핑, VR(가상현실)아트 등 국내외 다양한 분야에서 활동중인 아티스트이다. 2015 MAP(Mullae Arts Plus) 아티스트로 선정되어 소리, 빛, 공간을 혼합하여 그것을 체험하는 <Soundhue>라는 이름으로 단독 공연을 하였다.

[ Changgyun Jung ]
사운드를 기반으로 활동하는 작가이다. 필드에서 녹음한 환경음, 하드웨어 서킷벤딩, 프로그래밍을 통한 생성음악, 자작악기등을 통해 사운드에 대한 다양한 방법으로 접근과 연구를 통해 곡을 구성하며, 소리의 변화를 실시간으로 환원시는 작업을 목표로 꾸준히 작업을 이어나가고 있다. 현재는 빈캔, 종이잡지, 유리병 등 일상적으로 버려지는 물건들을 활용하여 스피커를 제작하고 특정 공간의 특성과 지역색을 반영하여 설치/전시하는 공간 특수적인 사운드 인스톨레이션 작업을 주로 진행하고 있다. 전시/공연 외에도 다양한 분야에 하드웨어 제작/인터렉션 프로그레밍등으로 협업하고 있으며, 사운드스케이프 프로젝트 및 미디어 콜라보 그룹인 upcycle roundup의 맴버로도 활발히 활동중이다.

[ Mean ]
MEAN(서혜민)은 소리의 본질을 바탕으로 소리가 주는 다양한 경험적 의미를 탐구하는 작곡가이다. KEAMS(한국 전자 음악 협회) 주최의 fest-m 2009를 시작으로 애니메이션 음악, 사운드 디자인, 전자 음악, 오디오-비주얼 등 작품의 영역을 넓히고있다.
MEAN is a South Korean composer who is fascinated by various empirical meanings of the essence of sound itself. She has been expanding her interests in the field of animation music, electronic music, sound design and audio-visual art since she presented her own music at the 2009 FEST-M from the Korea Electro-Acoustic Music Society.
