WeSA Residency
WeSA 레지던시는 제주 동쪽 마을 선흘에 위치한 600평 규모의 아트 레지던시입니다. 혁신과 실험, 예술의 경계 확장이라는 WeSA의 모토와 함께 하는 아티스트들에게 작업과 영감의 기회를 제공합니다. 제주라는 독특한 역사 문화 환경 하에서 낯설고 새로운 도전을 할 작가를 기다립니다.
* 위사 레지던시 정기 공모
정기적으로 진행되는 공모 프로그램입니다. 혁신 예술 작가라면 누구든지 지원가능합니다. 인스타그램을 통해 공지하며 위사 선흘에서 열흘 간의 체류 기간이 제공됩니다.
- 공모 : 인스타그램을 통해 공지
- 응모 분야 : 음악/사운드, 오디오비주얼, 미디어아트를 비롯 모든 혁신적인 아트 장르
- 응모 자격 : 만 19세 이상 아티스트
(해외입국자는 감염병 관련 방역 규칙을 준수해야 합니다)
- 선발 인원 : 1팀(1~3인)
- 지원 사항 : 작업 공간, 숙소 및 소정의 체재비(항공료 포함 200만 원 내)
- 레지던시 기간 : 총 10일

위사 아티스트를 대상으로 하는 레지던시 프로그램입니다.
- 공모 대상 : 위사 아티스트
- 공모 대상 외 모든 사항은 정기 공모와 동일합니다.
We are seeking artists who wish to participate in the WESA Residency, who will reside for ten days in the quiet town of Seonheul, located in the eastern region of Jeju Island; participants will be able to freely design and develop their projects. Selected candidates will be provided with accommodation and workspaces on Jeju Island, in addition to an honorarium.
Additionally, work proposals conceived during the residency period will be selected through a separate screening and will be sponsored for production and presentation.
We encourage and request enquiries from, and participation of, many artists from a variety of different backgrounds.
[ Application Guidelines ]
* Application field: Music/Sound, Audiovisual, Media art and all of Experimental and innovative art
* Eligibility: Artists must be a minimum of 19 years of age
* Foreign residents must strictly comply with COVID19-related quarantine rules, including self-isolation.
* Support: Workspace, accommodation and inaugural costs (to a maximum of and not exceeding 2,000,000 Korean Won (₩) (including airfare))
